(Expired) Free Quart of Glidden Paint - Starts June 25

I got one quart of paint about a week ago, and then one of my neighbors anonymously placed a second quart on my doorstep on Saturday. I was somehow able to get two shipped to the same address, though one was delivered down the street incorrectly. I think I know why the neighbor marched it right up to my doorstep...
I chose the colors "goldenrod" and "tangerine peel" because they looked attractive online. I intended to use them to paint a bunch of Adirondack chairs I have on my patio that have faded over the years.
I sanded down to bare wood, then sealed the "punky" wood with some wood hardener, filled with all temperature rated wood filler, sanded, and primed three coats with Kilz Ultra. I still used one quart per chair.

On the upside, I'm kind of under a flight path for airplanes landing at CVG, and one pilot friend said he can see my chair on the back patio when he's landing! Seriously some of the brightest colored paint I have ever seen! I don't think my laptop shows true colors at all now, lol. I thought it looked more "creamsicle"-ish online. This is ORANGE, with six exclamation points!

Well, I just called Glidden and they looked me up by my Phone # and said that my order is in progress so maybe it will show up soon. They also said they are still processing orders all this week so maybe yours will show up too in Ky along with mine. Just for an FYI they are all being sent out via Fed EX.:yesnod::clap::teeth:

Got mine

Mine arrived late last week to my house and my brother's house, just waiting on the one to arrive at my parents house. Wish I would have known I could get more than 1 shipped to my house!

I got mine last week. The color difference from the computer screen to the real thing...:jaw:
I thought I was getting a light mauve that would work will for the trim in my bathroom.
I will never pick paint color from a computer again!
 
Ok got the rest of my paint! Didn't think they'd all show up but finally did! Thanks a lot this will help me refresh my home! God Bless!
