(Expired) Free Gillette Fusion - 500/Day Until 05/16/09

Yay....i got one today, after i log in it said "congratulation, you are one of the winner today, please allow 6-8 weeks for the delivery, ect....."....and did it at 2:10 p.m in texas
 
OK I just won one at 5:14PM New York time.
 
Timing ?

I've tried this everyday since it posted to spoofee. Early, late, on time, they're always gone. The server is too lagged to process all the requests and most freeze up for a few minutes or more before giving the "too late" message. Also the email system is inadequate because I get messages all day long about new razors being released and it's hours after the promotion has ended for the day. For me it seems like the lottery, one in a million chance of winning something, guaranteed to waste your time. It was fun for a while but I'm done with this lottery. I also followed the post on spoofee a week or so ago and got the Free Schick Quattro Titanium Trimmer, no lottery there, it works. Schick gets my vote here.

Ok. I realize I just posted above about how I was finished with this "lottery" Magically my submission went through around 12:25 est. It was sitting in the background while I was posting. I think so many people try to login at noon the system gets overloaded and everyone gets yesterdays message. If you wait a little while after 12 when everyone gives up(like I have everytime) the system will start churning out accepted submissions. This is just my educated theory, hope it helps someone !

texas is 2hr ahead so it'd be 12:10pm where the contest is. Jeesh....I have a feeling there is no rhyme/reason to this one. 1 at 12pm...1 at 5pm .... frustrating.

Not sure why I finally got it a 5:14. I have been trying for days @ noon. When I saw Texas got it so much later I figured what's 20 sec and tried and WON.

i tried at 9:02am PST i got the msg's saying all 500 were gone. Then i tried again just short of 9:30am PST and got one. Thanks for the advice!!!
 
im in central time zone and i finally got one at 1113 am at 1102 it said they were all gone finally decided to give one last try and got one at 1113
 
i think the novelty is wearing off.

I received an actual razor today from P&G. A little note says it's from the Gillette Walk Online and Text Offers. Think it's from this thread.
