i heard people doing that back when they had those toysrus video game closeouts...I didn't know how that worked back then, but I thought that was a neat trick.



it sucks that the sale online is on Monday, since I go to school that day.

Many stores in their fine print for BF ads prohibit such activity, but if they don't check on line for their usual pricematch policy - YMMV

South Carolina just announced that ther Friday after Thanksgiving will be completely tax free. Unlike other back to school holidays, this tax holiday includes everything, even things like groceries.

Certain things, not everything. NC is like that too. Some groceries have a 2% tax, some have 8% and some have none. I never can figure it out. NC also charges tax on OTC drugs :(
 
If you are going to the big electronic stores I would suggest, for the big ticket items, at least by 12am Thursday.
 
not trying to be a party pooper since i know all of us daily Spoofee-ers wait for this all year long (its like a marathon runner who trains all year for a big marathon or maybe we can compare this to the world series lol)

in any case I think I'm a bit dissapointed, maybe I already got all the stuff I needed but I honestly do not see anything I think is an amazing amazing deal this year, like last year I bought a bunch of junk I didn't even need at Wal*Mart but truthfully I don't see anything. I think we might jump on the unadvertised 899 Panasonic Plasma @ Best Buy but thats about it.

FYI they got PS3's at some stores for Black Friday. My buddy works at WalMart and he just told me they got 4 in, I wouldn't get too excited though, apparently people have been waiting for them all day long (pretty sad considering they are missing Thanksgiving :( )
 
Went to local stores all have lines already. If you're aiming for a hot item better line up now.
 
I just heard from a friend that Microcenter has about 10 people lined up already for the Acer Laptop for $199. :verysad:
 
I drove by my local Best Buy and there are already about 30 people camped out in line and they dont start passing out tickets for the items for another 8 hours. People are crazy, I would never do that!
