Yeah, I would say it is suspiciously quiet! I think that Allure is full of unorganized, incompetent individuals. I am still trying unsuccessfully to contact one of the main people about a replacement box and am being ignored. I guess I will be sending a certified letter to someone in management. Just tell me you can't provide a product versus giving an unprofessional runaround after making promises to me directly on the phone. I think winners lists are just floating around in someone's computer. Spoofee members are notoriously successful in getting a decent portion of the wins! Give me a break! Maybe they are filing for bankruptcy. :mmph:LOL
 
It really makes no sense. I've read a few other freebie boards and no one on them has gotten anything either. In fact, I haven't sdeen anything about people winning June and July prizes either.

When is Allure going to send out these things? At least a winners list. I can't believe how disorganized this has been.
 
I just had an e-mail last night asking me where I got the list from last year. I guess everyone is getting antsy about the past August giveaways. Please note, I have not received anything either. Was wondering if anyone had, but Spice answered that for me (as I hadn't checked any other boards). Thanks, Spice. Now, come on, Allure, let loose with the lists and prizes already!
 
For those who want to do something different, email or call Allure and let them know you'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau of New York or whatever state they are in, if you dont get some help or answers.

From what i understand is, allure gathers the list of winners and sent them out to the companies that participated in the August Allure Giveaway. that is why its taking forever.
 
I sure would like to know if i won anything...i signed up for soooooo...much!!
 
Allure is in NY, and lovefreebees is right. Allure just "hosts" the giveaways and forwards the winners' lists to the various companies. They are under a contractural obligation to fulfill the delivery of the prizes. Somewhere along the way, however, the whole damn procedure goes to hell in a handbasket. The BBB is virtually useless, but the Attorney General's office might be very interested in the fact that they simply will not give out a winners' list.

I can only assume that they informed the companies on "allure giveaway"
time and the the companies are compounded the tardiness by taking their sweet time to fulfill

From what I read on the other board, several people there emailed the sponsors about the prizes, and the responses have either been to contact Allure for the info, or that they didn't get any winners list yet and when they do they'll be sending out prizes.

I'm not camping out by my mailbox waiting for anything to come soon. :(

That was going to be my next move, too. I figured if the companies had the list, they could at least check for my name. This is truly getting ridiculous. Maybe the person who was in charge of this was fired or quit the company and no one knows that the work wasn't done. I'm simply running out of excuses/explanations of why 33,000+ prizes are missing in action.
 
I just called Allure this morning--finally--and am trying to get a person's name who is in possession of the August Blowout list. I spoke to Danielle Dodds' replacement and asked for the August Sampling list. She said she would have to check with their Legal Department. I left her my e-mail and phone number. They were closing at noon today, so if she ever gets back to me, it wouldn't be before probably Tuesday at the earliest. I think it is beyond time to take this to another level if they don't give me these lists.

i know I am repeating myself

but has any one gotten anything from ALLURE since June?
i would rather hear that I missed out than have them be ... what is it 6 months behind in fulfillment? how will they ever get through the August prizes?
