I will e-mail Allure with a list of everything that's missing and see if they can follow up. They did a great job on the June missing prizes for me. I never even had to contact the companies--the prizes showed up a week or so later, so we'll see how it goes.

if you have a tracking # or a reference # you can check for your packages then you can call ups or fedex and see if they'll forward your package to your new location, make sure you do a change of address form, i wasn't to bright when i moved, i just changed my info myself but didn't go through the post office.
 
Thanks. ^_^ I always do a change of address form with the post office anyway. That way I have plenty of time to manually change everything with people who send me stuff. I'll just have to be more vigilant about checking reference numbers then!

Yes, I did get the Dove, but it was hysterical. They sent one bar from a multi-pack and sent it UPS or FedEx (can't remember which). I called the PR firm (from the pkging) and asked them what the hell they were doing--and was told they were given 8-packs to use for fulfillment, not the two-packs they were supposed to receive. So then I asked why they didn't even send two bars. I don't remember the ridiculous answer now. But, they actually sent me another bar a week later. So weird. And I no longer remember the PR firm. However, it is Unilever, so you could try CS there.

I just got the same email. It doesn't mean anything to me. Allure has been known to send such emails but that does not mean that the prizes will be mailed. :(

It might be a good idea for the companies to have to certify to Allure that they have actually fulfilled their contracts after any giveaways. I just think the winners lists get lost somewhere within these companies or their PR firms. Can you please confirm that you have received this e-mail and will expedite this for me? Thank you so much.

I just hope they weren't being sarcastic when they said they'd get right on it. I hope they do!

I emailed both companies that hadn't sent their products on Saturday since i did that for all of those late 2008 prizes and it was quicker then. if i don't get a response i will try the ALLURE route. They DID eventually get me a product that i couldn't get the vendor to send.

I was in shock, but I just hope they meant exactly what they said and they weren't being smart about it. How they know who I am??--well, could be all the complaining I've done over the years!

Yeah, I think you scared the sh**, er, prizes out of them! (Did you get the same e-mail I got or the one that everyone else got?)
 
Last night I contacted four of the five companies I am missing items from, I could not find a direct contact for the Ricky Care Rubber Flat Bobby Pins. I just received an email from ColorMetrics for the ColorMark from 8/13...

"Sorry you did not get the original shipment of our product, ColorMark Rich Black, from winning the Allure contest.

We are sending a replacement shipment. The shipment will go out today via the U.S. Postal Service. You should get it in 3 to 5 days.

Just received an email about the Styli-Style Eyeliner Pencil in Deep Purple from 8/27...

Thank you for your e-mail. I sincerely apologize that you did not receive the freestuff from August 2009. Please provide me with your mailing address and I will send you the 130 line & seal 24 eyeliner.
