Does anyone know how this SoftSheen-Carson Dark and Lovely Fade-Resistant Rich Conditioning Color would work on caucasian hair? I got the honey blonde color, and am wondering if I could use it...

My handicapped cousin never got her prize from Bourjois and I emailed Fiona Gibb a while back, and she responded quickly, and I got mine, but had to give it to my cousin since she never got hers and I could not feel good about it.

I contacted Fiona Gibb again-with a thank you email- and I immediately got a reply saying that the mailbox was closed OR I was denied access to it.

I only emailed her once, so I would guess this helpful and kind person is not longer accepting email at Allure, or she had been fired for doing her job . . . anyone know about this?

I've heard it's better for gray coverage but I'm not really sure. I didn't enter this one only because they didn't have a dark/medium brown other wise I would have entered and tried it. (but don't hold me to this...I'd hate to have you use it and hate me!)

Yeah - I'm thinking either it will work fine and be better than I thought, or a total disaster...not sure I should risk it - probably not worth it! Maybe I'll try to return it to a store and say I bought the wrong kind and exchange it.

Yeah, if you have fine hair or easily damaged hair I wouldn't chance it. Ethnic hair is a lot courser so it might be damaging.

I was wondering the same thing....living in oklahoma I have a lot of native american friends that would probably try the" jet black" color but I didnt know if it would hurt thier hair since it is obviously for african american women...I was thinking of trying the "vivacious red" since i went red once before just for fun and it was fun for a few months but love being blonde but a change would be fun too since that was several years ago and....what was my point???....oh yeah I didnt know if it would damage my hair or not...wow I can type when I get on a roll huh?? :blushing:
 
oh yeah...I wanted to ask if anyone is using IE8...I just upgraded the other night and was hoping that it wouldnt change my luck on the allure giveaways since i have been using 7 this whole time and didnt do too bad....I really want to know...I have never used anything but IE
 
I have dealt with Fiona and she is VERY nice and helpful. Her email address was posted on various sites and there is no telling how many emails she was getting a day, so they may have disabled the one that everyone had. :thinking:

I got it, too! That makes three out of four for October for me. This is truly a first. Now, I just need that five-set Tree Hut collection to make it a perfect score! Still hoping.

I got the three of them, but someone called me away from my desk at work for the five-set Tree Hut - would have loved that one too!! Oh well...I can't complain- or could I?? :)
