Yes, my order did go through. Don't know why it took so long to show up in my order status, which scared me for the longest time (well, for 1 hour). I really hope the order will pass all the stages prior to shipping.
 
Any chance of Dell issuing these 40% offs again this month?

Orders dropped??

I always get an "Order Ack" email then an "Order Conf" email. I got the "Order Ack" but not the confirmations. (4 orders). ....does this mean they will drop my orders? I've never seen this happen.
 
i haven't recieved my confirmation yet as well. we SHOULD recieve it sometime later today. but dang, 4 orders and another 4 orders, then another 10 orders, and plus the other orders. that is a lot of 20.1in lcds.
 
i ordered it online and called them and got a order number and everything over the phone. there will be like 45 min wait though. also, call the sales number and not the main number, cause they will just trasfer you and you are back in the queue again.

So did anyone that ordered one online actually get a 2nd email????
I ordered one yesterday and i have been on hold for more than an hour trying to find out why i havent gotten a 2nd email.
 
as to my previous post, i called them and they said there was some discrepency with the price that was it was not going though. I am in NY and dont get charged tax so it was 49 dollars cheaper for me when they put it through today. So mine as of today has been sent to assembly. If you placed an order i urge you to call them and confirm

heh some people are just way too impatient. i was probably the last person to actually order the computer cuz i ordered it at 5:58pm when the coupon ended at 6pm. i just received my confirmation today at around 7:05pm. don't freak out :) it was a legit deal.
 
Btw, does anyone know what kind of power suppoly (PSU) comes with the 8400 series? I'm hoping at least 480watt so I can upgrade to Geforce 6800U for PCI-E when it comes out. Thanks!

It is a 350W power supply, but Dell under rates them. You should have no problem, my son is running 2 hard drives, 1 disk drive, 1 DVD+/-RW drive, 1 CD/RW drive and a ATI 9800 PRO graphics card on a 350W Dell power supply. With no problems at all. Hope this helps out :)
 
we have shipment confirmation. I have 7 boxes coming to me :D :D :D
