Cvs free money

Every CVS in my area has unfriendly workers. I used to think it was a prerequisite. Now I shop at Rite Aid. They never mess up my prescriptions, always are friendly and have a great rebate program.

Mines the opposite. Rite Aid has the nasty people and CVS has a bunch of kids who will take as many coupons as I have and usually pay me to shop there.

My CVS is a hit and miss. It really does depend on who is working. I know this one employee...oooh. Mean person! But there are times that I shop there and there are some nice older ladies. They are very sweet =-)

UPDATE July 1st

Hi Everyone,
Just reminding to scan your cards on July 1st for your extra care bucks at CVS :)

 well cvs finally has somethings i'm interested in getting for 'free' (or next to free) I plan on spending $9 and bringing home 2 boxes of tampax pearl, a free Softsoap body wash and 3 items from the $1 rack.

here's how, if anyone is bored enough to read this (I'm at work and bored :)

Transaction #1) buy Softsoap with $5 cash. Get 5EB and 1EB quarterly reward
Transaction #2) buy 2 boxes Tampax with $4 cash & 6EB get 3EB
Transaction #3) use $3EB for the cheap rack, lint rollers, or whatever.

And I might double this deal by using my 'friends' card haha :)

This is misleading--and forget about these specific deals (as they are long gone). Trans #1, yes, you would get the $5 ECB, but the $5 cash you spend is just added to your quarterly spending total, and it's only 2%--not 20%--SO: it would be $.10 added to your quarterly ECB ($5 X 2%). Then when you use any coupon to pay, you only get credit for the OOP amount, so the credit on Trans #2 is also $.10 ($10 price less $5 ECB received on 1st trans X 2%). So you now have a quarterly spending total of $10. You must have at least $25 quarterly spending to get anything (and that would give you a $.50 coupon at the end of the quarter--not the same day). I see you got $3 ECB for buying the two boxes of tampons--but since your OOP total on Trans #3 is zero, nothing is added to your quarterly spending total.

The next quarterly ECB will print on July 1st, so whatever your Spring Spending Total shows on your last receipt will be multiplied by 2% and you will receive a coupon for that amount at that time.

I love CVS and do very well shopping there. I get tons of freebies by combining coupons and ECB's. A couple of weeks ago they had a huge sale . I reallyl racked up and only spent $5.00. I have more razors, toothpaste and bodywash then I can figure out what to do with but stockpiling is saving me a ton!

Make sure you get your cash back July 1st

I hate to admit it but i really don't pay attention to the quarterly ecb's. The sale items spit out the ECB's when you purchase the item, so I guess I should check the balance at the bottom of my receit for the quarterly. Since I never hardly pay more then $5- $10 in a purchase, my quarterly spending can't be too much.

Wow. I think I might start shopping at CVS. I usually shop at Walgreens, but they don't give me money.

Thanks for the post, snuggleszam!

Actually, Walgreens has a similar deal. They call it Register Rewards. Just like ECB for buying certain items. They do not have a quarterly reward, however. For me, the magic is pretty much gone for CVS shopping. I did it for a few years when we could get great coupons in unlimited quantities (like $4 off $20, etc), but now they are only given out to specific card holders. They also used to have much better ECB offers and you could usually do up to five offers per card. Plus, for me, I just got sick of the same offers over and over--toothpaste, deod., makeup, etc. I still do an order now and then, and you can still get some good deals, but not like the good old days.
