credit card late fee

Chase stinks too. I was one of the thousands of people who were with Washington Mutual as a MyPoints credit card holder after Chase bought them out. Chase then canceled all of the accounts, including my $3,000 account, and took my rewards points with it. (By the way, I had a big $15 balance...)

And here's the real interesting part, we have a $150k mortgage. My account holder? Chase.

I do, however, love my local credit union. They have never done me wrong.

ok....getting ready to call back and try again.

crappo....couldn't get anything but 1/2 of the late fee waved...so I owe $39.81 in fees. I'm not closing my account with BOA, but I am cashing out my points for cash and not using my card anymore. :mmph: I haven't been late in a payment in years according to their system...they couldn't find the last late time...but not enough to get out of it. toodles.

I guess the economy takes its toll.....

yeah...I keep telling myself I shouldn't complain. Although it ticks me off...it was my fault. And I didn't whine on the phone about my circumstances for being late....proud of myself for that much. I save my whining for this place.

Who do you think pays for people that do pay for their cards? We do in fees.

LOL! Now that sounded like you were blaming those of us who pay our balance every month! Like we're doing something wrong or sneaky!

BTW-I'm w/spaz, my local credit union has always been my best card. I have a chase that started out years ago as a First Card, and has gone through a couple other names until Chase aquired it. Their customer service has always left me feeling used.

Actually, that was a typo on my part, I meant those that don't pay for their cards. But come to think of it, fees probably cover those that do too. lol
