And DANC slips into the night yet again... Maybe he is traveling through the Sahara Desert and only gets the occasional WIFI signal, which is why he will post and then disappear. He is looking for an oasis right now, quite thirsty, hoping to find a nice bottle of Coca-Cola, because let's be honest, what else would you want to drink when out in the middle of the desert with the blazing hot son giving you a nice tan. Quite likely though, the next WIFI signal is still days away, and the Coca-Cola machine will be $1.25, and Dan probably only has $1 left on him. Let's face it, you never have that extra 25 cents when you really want an ice cold Coca-Cola. DanC probably spent his last quarter on the Bubble-Gum machine that was at the last camel parking lot, and so now he is regretting it as he looks at the Coca-Cola machine.

That's ok DanC... you'll make it buddy. Put that $1 of yours in an Index Fund, and you should gain an average of 8% over the next 30 years. Then you'll be able to afford as many Coca-Cola's as your heart desires. Of course, about that time you'll realize it was actually a Pepsi machine (:pepsi:), and all they have is Diet. Blah! :ack:

I cost more than a quarter, thank you! :mmph:

1) That's not a person, it's a personification of our Federal bureaucracy.
2) Servant, you should write novels. Your story is much better than the truth, which is that I've been working 60+ hours a week for months now, mostly on the road. I come home just often enough that the dog doesn't bite me.

I suppose it's a relief to know that it's just work. I was hoping you weren't thirsting to death in the Sahara.
