Maybe not, I have a Canon BJC 3000 which Linux Mandrake recognizes under the CUPS system.

Is your printer connected to serial port or the USB ? This one is USB and i know Mandrake 9.0 hasn't recognised it but i am having hell of a time getting XFree86 up and running that i haven't concentrated on the printers yet.

This lists all of canon's promotions. I recommend going here as well, as this will allow you to do a right click/save target as deal for the pdf file. People should save all pdf files to the HD imo.

The direct link will not work in this forum. The direct link contains this as one of it's parts
