better deal than the $10 128mb USB drive at OM?

Money Money

I will go to any lengths to save money!! Thanks, SPOOFEE! :D

Rock on gronghi...

Rock on gronghi, and a BIG thank you for some creative suggestions regarding how to get that drive for less......if anyone doesnt like the deal or the method to acquire it then move on and dont read any further. Excusing incompetence is not my style nor will it ever be--the corps are not out to help anyone just to get me to open my wallet and take as much as they can for as little as they can return---suggest a few read about Enron, Tyco, World Com, Imclone, etc. or are those the "good guys"? In the REAL WORLD corps are just predators and these "loss leader" deals are just that--OD hopes to recoup the discount on its few jump drives from those poor souls that come into the store after they are gone and then buy something else or another jump drive at full retail. Anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. Corps are not friends of the consumers-nor their employees.
No one forces any one on Spoofee to read these posts much less pursue any deal--so let the rest of use who want to go to "these lengths" do so--in peace and without reprisal or criticism. Do they deals "you want" and leave the rest to us. If we werent soaked by paying 5.5 months of the year for taxes, then perhaps Spoofee would not be so popular...and we wouldnt have to "go to" those lengths to get these deals.

Thanks to Spoofee, we can take back a few bank pennies for all the dollars we've had stolen by the corporate govt--a little political philo.

Enjoy your extra $40 while I enjoy being friends with the manager when I walk in...

friends w/ the manager ... lmao

i'm sure he's your friend when that dvd rw drive sells for hella cheap, no limit, no rebate, and he tells you it's "out of stock".

gronghi is right on target...all else is false thinking.

gronghi, I agree with your pursuit of the allowed, approved, and sanctioned jump drive deal. I dont agree that following up on a standard price matching policy is anything but fair but I do agree that the ignorance and the dim wits of the retail clerks requires explanation and convincing-frankly, if they dont like my legitimate approach, I could care less and I dont need their affections to stroke my ego because I am not insecure. They probably wont even last long enough to be there if/when I return for the next Spoofee identified deal, so Ill probably never even see them again--besides, In America, the customer is King and they better worry more about displeasing me then I should ever worry about displeasing them. To me, the deal is worth saving the extra few dollars...I'd even get that deal if I saved 50 cents. Maybe if some folks did a time value of money calc on what the extra few dollars would really cost them over the next two decades if invested wisely, they would drop their load and run to Staples to save the extra dollars. Its amazing also to me how many times Ive asked for the legitimate discount and they said "yes". Keep up the good work gronghi and maybe a few folks will learn from your creative example--and if they dont, then folks like you and I will go buy their share!
