Alpha Geek T-shirt - Large or X-Large

Why does this have to be so confusing? ... You have to submit your info and register a friend, then the friend has to do the same before you'll both get your shirts? But the form looks exactly the same when you sign in as the friend (from the link).

.... seems odd. The first time I registered my hubby & one of his 'geek' friends, I entered all their info in all the fields, then thought maybe they wouldn't get it unless the top field contained hubby's and below info friends, and vice versa, so that it looked like they replied to the mail.

Getting a free T shouldn't be this complicated. I wonder if any of us will actually get this. (LOL, I wonder if we'll get 5 of em -- I did the main thing 2x and then after submitting my hubby's info for a 2nd time, I realized I submitted the wrong size & redid it. LOL. I doubt it'll happen, but who knows.)

That reminds me, did anyone get those TV show pins from the tv stations? the I support X for the "____ awards" ? Anyone remember what I'm talking about? They had HOUSE and 30 rock and some other ones...?

That was the Power Dose, and I got that one also. It is the very first freebie on my request list--and it came months and months later...and was the first t-shirt I ever received. I didn't note the exact dates. The Martini one is still circling the area--and this one--I agree with Kaija that it was very confusing. I got a lot of e-mails and tried re-signing up with husband's info. Told him just to confirm if he gets anything. Since he really is a geek, he deserves two shirts anyway (if they come).

PS to Kaija: do not know anything about the pins, but they sound cute.

I did it.. 4-6 weeks. I hooked my hubby up too.. Maybe we'll have matching tee's LOL

Just got an email from Geek Nation wanting several questions answered to determine if I was just looking for a freebie.. LOL .. well duh .. but I'll take the course info to get it.

Awesome!! Did you get an email quizzing you too? I signed up my hubby & one of his good friends (since you had to refer someone) w/2 of my email addresses, so if they do request info, I'll be able to respond. They're both perfect for the geek nation thing, so hopefully it'll just come. I'm glad to know they are actually shipping!! How exciting!!
 
kaija, I think they were thrown by a 44 yr old woman wanting their college magazine..LOL
I did sign my brother up.. he's a computer eng., the true brainiac of the family.
They sent another email this am saying the shirt's being sent.. so I guess I answered right. Hope it shows up... I need some new t-shirts
 
I work for a software engineering company, so I used my work e-mail and I think that's why I got the e-mail from them too. I'm hoping this comes! I got the e-mail from them asking for more info on Wednesday.
 
It came this week... wearing it now.. I have to remember to ask my brother if he finished the sign up for his.. he shouldn't have any problem getting one being a tech nerd..
