Allure July 2011 Giveaways July 1st, and then 5th, 6th , 7th , and 8th at NOON

Mrseric, August is just total insanity. The contests are every day, and they run each hour from noon till 6. (or was it 5?) It's like you become an Allure zombie, and your only focus is making sure you are at the computer at the top of each hour. It completely takes over your life. ;)

haven't seen anything yet on August giveaways from Allure...when i checked allure.com yesterday i found only the web page from July 20th 2010. waiting to see all those bars of soap, lip balm and size 2 dresses. :rofl:

in today by 12:00:27 on IE8 and FF for DH by 12:00:30. a little slower today
 
Wow, sounds crazy, thanks for the info! I have enough trouble remembering the monthly Allure ones as it is, haven't been doing them long enough yet to get into any sort of groove...August sounds nuts, but fun!
 
In today pretty quickly on IE...FF was lagging again...

I think this will be my 3rd serious Aug Allure...It really does take over and make you zombie-like as ya'll said...after a few days its kinda like you loose all your senses and no matter what you are doing you blank out about 5 minutes til the top of the hour and get your page ready for the next give-away and there is nothing you can do to stop the nagging no matter how small the prize is...you simply MUST sign up...you'll be jumpin through hoops to knock everyone away from your computer and timing trips to the store juuuust right so you don't miss one (or going in the morn or night) some days you just stay in your jammies and stare blankly at the screen and wonder if you brushed your teeth that morning (that starts happening towards the end of the month) Its really a little scary...sleep now while you can because there will be night mares.....oh yes there will be nightmares !!!
 
I feel sooooooo bad. I met this lady at a children's museum today and she heard me talking about coupons to a friend of mine. She walks up and starts taking notes about all these deals I'm talking about and then I say the A word. That's right.... Allure. She'll be here in August with all of us, pulling her hair out and thinking of that mean lady in the museum.
 
As long as you said the 'S' word too, Spoofee, you are forgiven...at least from us. From her, it's another story!
 
Daaaaang...I think I am "allure fit"!!! Walked in the door at 3 minutes til noon...dropped everything on the floors and got 2 forms up and signed in at the very last second!! I feel like an "allure pro(grammed robot)"

LOL I thought I was gonna miss it today....dont even really want that hair stuff...but when I walked in the door and saw the time I felt a sense of urgency to sign up...yup...I am ready....c'mon Aug!! Lets do this!! Rawr!! LOL

It was hair stuff wasn't it...I dunno what I even signed up for :faint:

Today was the fasted I've gotten through in ages...00:11. Wish all my entries were that fast.

And then August is coming...:ahhhhh:
 
I've done the August marathon for four years now, and it is so exhausting. Last year, it ran until 7 PM the first week and then 6 PM every week thereafter. It's on weekdays only (thank goodness). The 12 o'clock is usually a random one, but the critical ones begin at 1 PM. I've had wildly varying results. In 2009, I got a total of 82 items (three different people--56 for me, 15 for my husband and 11 for a friend). Last year, however, none of my 2nd or 3rd entries won anything. I managed a moderate 36 or 37 items for myself. Very little my first two years. Good luck.

I got the July 1st email as well. That's really fast for an Allure prize notification. :)

this stuff is great. I have sensitive skin and can't use most creams like this. not strivectin... and it REALLY works. my time was lousy for this one but my husbands was ok. Keeping my fingers crossed:prey::prey::prey:
