Allure August 2011 Free Stuff

I guess I was mixing it up in my mind with the monthly ones, Pat. August always becomes such a blur in my mind.

Road trip to Sunninjimmy's house for a shopping spree! lol
 
There definitely seems to be fewer items this year, which must be due to the economy. I hope that there's not more competition with more people being out of work and on the computer (like me) :lol:. Still though, I don't see anything that I'm really excited about like last year. There's a lot of perfumes but I already have so many sprays and perfumes. I guess I would like to win one of the hairbrushes (I'm lame.) I have been winning more stuff during the monthly giveaways than I got the whole month of August last year. I will not be entering any of the hairspray/mousse contests. I have so much and never use. I will probably be experimenting a lot and trying to write down my times more. I'm going to try a new technique of pushing "enter" at XX:59:55. As always, the 12pm giveways are pointless... but a girl can dream... :blushing:

BTW.. there seems to be a lot fewer 500's this time around.

Just a reminder for everyone to enjoy their freedom because as of Monday we will begin the Allure August marathon. The top of the hour gets a whole new meaning. Daily events must be squeezed into 55 minute intervals so there is no chance to miss logging in.:tongue: I guess if you are using a mobile device, there is a little more freedom. All I know is it took me until mid- September last year to shake the feeling (at the top of every hour) that I was missing something. Good luck everyone!

The thing is I entered all the contests except 2 and only got 1 item.. Hoping this year is a bit better b/c I'm also going to be doing the mobile for me and going to enter daughter online..maybe have better luck we will see!:)
