Yesterday afternoon, I had 763 posts and was a level 8 -- when I came back that evening, I noticed that I was back down to a level 7 and saw that my post count was down to 748. I have no idea why this is, or where my posts went. No one notified me that my posts were being deleted, but removing 15 posts w/o even being courteous enough to let us know it was being done, and WHY... just not cool. I would have thought we'd be given more respect than that.

Hi guys, I have been off line for a few days for health reasons (and will be off for a few more). I haven't even read the thread in question yet.

As far as I know is when we merge posts, the OP of the post that was merged gets a notification about the change. Is it not doing that anymore? Even if we delete a post the OP should get an automatic notification. If this isn't happening, then we need to know.

Send me a PM so that I can at least get an e-mail message and I can respond from there.

I agree w/Ron -- While we should definitely search to see if our intended post has been posted before, it's really rude the way this was handled -- especially the deleting of our posts w/o telling us. I logged back on tonight and found that almost 20 of my posts were missing. WHY!? Even if they were merging posts (which I can't tell if that's what happened or not) it would still be considerate & respectful if the mod that did these things would alert us. And locking the "repost" thread, not allowing us to ask questions -- the whole thing just really rubs me the wrong way.

I just read Scoopons post on reposts and I just wanted to tell you that it offended a good bit.
I have made a few posts to Spoofee and some of them were new and some of them I found out letter on were reposts. I made an effort each time to make sure they were new using your search feature and did not find anything. However, I would find after the fact that it was a repost.
MY FAULT? No you search engine was at fault.
What offended me was the low cowardly way Scoopons put in the comment "Another announcement:

repeated reposting, after initial warning will result in a ban. Please refrain from doing so."
And then he closed the thread.
Lousy cowardly bastard.
If you want me and others to continue to support your site and continue to help out then you had better do a better job than this.
and who was the idiot that made Scoopons a moderator. He's nothing more than a sick little ego making posts and then not wanting to hear others replies.
I think you can do a lot better than this.

Spaz it is VALID IN THE USA...when u go to the site there are different flags to choose from including USA!!!! Just thought i'd let u know! After 8 hrs I found it! But was very disturbed that nobody looked into it b4 deleting it!
