Xiaomi is great if you want built in security exploits and 'anonymous' statistics sent back to their servers for collection without your consent (aka Chinese government.) Always question any electronics made by China...

I got one last time I saw this, and it doesn't work for me at all. You have to use their Mi Home app, which doesn't connect properly in the USA. Plus the actual camera doesn't even show up in their list of supported devices. DON'T BUY! It's useless in North America.

Do not purchase!! Software is sketchy and this does not sync to your phone, they haven't updated their apps so nothing works. It is all in Chinese. And Gearbest has the worst return policy/procedure. Still trying to return this purchase from 4 weeks ago. Get any other camera!
