TurboTax Federal + State Tax E-Filing for Free

You have to be either a first-time filer or student, according to what I saw.
 
Be careful. This is the most basic software and if you need anything more than just basic, it will cost you for the upgrades. Intuit has pulled a fast one on its old customers. There is a major shift over to H&R Tax Software because of it. Look up TurboTax Deluxe on Amazon and read the reviews.
 
Yes, they definitely ticked off their existing customers. I moved over to H&R software after 14 years with Turbotax. They 'unbundled' their products to squeeze everyone into more expensive offerings. They deserve what they get this year with what they did. Greedy money grab and they're paying dearly for it. Now they have to give stuff away for free just to improve image. Bad, greedy move. Guest (1) is right. Read the rage on the Amazon reviews.
 
The picture shows Deluxe version. But whe i go to turbotax they want to charge me $55 for Deluxe and $40 for state- because state is only free if fed is free. Bu buy tt
