I got mine about 12:50pm central time (Illinois). My parents got one at about 2:30pm eastern time (Indiana).
 
You've got wonder about a promotion like this -- for every happy guy, there's got to be 100 really pissed off ones. Yeah, I know "nothing ventured, nothing gained", but I feel like such a sucker for wearing out my F5 key and wasting 4 hours.

Is Logitech going to email the people that won? Has anyone recieved an email?
 
Called Logitech

and their Cust. Service department had to ask the Sales department what was happening - as far as anyone being contacted who won. They told me that no email was scheduled to be sent, but that you should print the confirmation page that they sent after you submitted your data to them. I mentioned that that page (confirmation page) did not contain anything that notified me as a winner.

They mentioned that if after 6 to 8 weeks I did not received the keyboard duo to call them. Sounds a bit "underplanned" to me. I would have thought that Logitech would send a confirmation email to each of the 20,000 winners so that they had something proving that they won something.

If you are one of the lucky ones to have won - keep you fingers crossed.

I'm hoping that internally Logitech runs things smoother than they did this promo.

But hey - I won one - now let's see if it arrives.
 
I didn't print anything out. The way I figure it, it's not costing me anything even if I never get it.
 
I think these people are going to regret this promotion in more ways than one. Those thousands of us who wasted bandwidth and time now have a strong negative image connected with a certain logo. How about using the address above to let them know it?
 
I got a confirmation e-mail as well, but my aunt didn't... so it may just be luck of the draw...
 
i don't see why anyone should have a negative image of logitech simply because they didn't win.

obviously, if 20,000 are going to be given away, that means not everyone is going to win. sure it sucks that you wasted your time and bandwidth, but it's a contest. some win, some don't.
 
Got mine today!

I called logitech on Monday and asked why I didn't get my mouse & keyboard yet. She looked up my name and saw I was to get one but couldn't find the order for it.

She then placed the order and told me they no longer ship the special edition, so that they would send the Cordless Elite Duo in place of it (a $20 upgrade). It was send by UPS next-day air. The keyboard is in original retail packaging, looks as if I just picked it up from the store. The rep. also said it is possible that I might end up getting two keyboards if the first order somehow ends up getting sent and that I will just then be a lucky winner of two combos if that happens.

Wisconsin, I kinda wish that woulda happened to me. That sounds nice....a $20 upgrade (if you can tell the diff). Well, anyway I got two keyboards in the conest anyway. Woohoo!! 8)
