the 'Count to 1,000' thread except the number is upped to 2,014.

2,014 users on-line and each one with a date suggestion on when to attempt to break this record.

No matter what date is selected, the best way to break the record is to 'spoof' the non-regulars to this site with a fake offer that can only be gotten on the date we select.

We could pool together all of the freeebies we got (just because they were free) and maybe have a "Spoofee Garage Sale)

I wonder is there are any cat-loving avatars mods who can create a fake web site (Spaz your cat still creeps me out).

We can use my Nigerian lottery winnings to fund the project.

If we all agree with this spoof, it would be a good idea not to post any of our plans, as there are lurkers about who will jump at the chance to foil the operation.

We will need a catchy/snappy code name.

Remember, secrecy is key. One slip up and it's all over.

Yep, just saw it last night. I don't care what critics say, I LOVED it! It's got a couple of twists in the end, and it's very engaging, in my opinion. Jim Carrey proves again that he could do more than silly comedies.

Its fine to care about the site Shani. So do I. But when someone lashes out, like you did about the quizzes, it leaves us with a bad taste in our mouths. You came across as a [female dog] for your rant about the state of the spoofee and the quizzes and it is to be expected that youre going to get some flack for that.

Im not saying that you are a [female dog], just saying that that post made you come across as one.

Shani - I think what everyone is trying to tell you is that there were other ways to handle how you felt about the quizzes. It's really more of something that you will learn with age. Try to take what is posted as constructive criticism. Maybe the next time there is something you don't like here @ Spoofee, try sending a PM to a moderator about how you feel, instead of lashing out

Now :focus:.. When are we gonna break a record?

No one is on your case, Shani. We are trying to teach you. You are 14 years old and are mixing with adults who most of are 25- 30+ years old. In the beginning, you spelled all of your words correctly and didn't abbreviate everything with what I refer to as "chat lingo". You presented yourself as a mature young adult. It was only after you came out to the spoofee community about your real age that you changed. We didn’t. You changed the way you talked and the way you presented yourself. There is a saying that I am sure you are not familiar with, it is " Know your audience" Which means, while it is acceptable for you to act one way around your friends, it is not other places. You showed your immaturity by cursing in a post, and to have it deleted by none other than Mr. Spoofee himself is not a good thing.
 
There has been a lot of talk on doing it on a Tuesday, which is the best day of the week for me. My first daycare children get here at 5:30am EST, and I am on until about 4:00pm EST. Then my girls get home, help with homework, make supper, do the dishes, and watch Wheel of Fortune. Then it's time to get the kids ready for bed, then I get to go to bed.
 
Just bumping.....Today is the 20th

Should we aim for about 10am-noon(est) for Thursday? Or just kind of all show up on Thursday when they can and for as longs as they can? (Can't forget about the lurkers, they count too! ;) )
 
Thursday works for me! I will probably log on about 10:30 am est since that is only 7:30 am here. :ranger:
 
I'll be here sometime during that time frame too!
