Yeah it stands for Dave Matthews Band. I have had this user name for like 5 years, and yeah I am a huge fan of their music to this day.

Yeah, believe it or not, I just rearranged all the furniture in my room and brought in my Toshiba SD-3800 Progressive DVD to go with it, this is going to be really nice. I also just wired a digital coax line to my room in place of the RG6 cabling that was already there, I want the best picture. Too bad I have no choice but to split the line three times before it gets to the TV.

Still hasn't shipped yet, it'll ship either tomorrow or Monday I guess.

Splitting any connection will make it not as sufficent, coax is not acception, hope it works out all good. I wish I had a nicer DVD player, thinking about investing in one soon enough.

While I was doing it, I brought my 13" kitchen TV up to test it out, it looked pretty good, so I'll see how it looks. I can always do some work to it if I really need to.

It's all RG6 quad-shield cabling, so that's good, and that makes it a clearer picture. I'm a big DMB fan too by the way, and I also boycott Sony. :)
 
I do not have the luxury of havng RG6 cable so I am not sure what it is like. Sounds good though, hope you enjoy the new boob tube as much as I do. Cheers.
 
Still not shipped, looks like it'll go out Monday. So, Tuesday or Wednesday will be my day to get it.
 
I'm waiting for mine to ship today. Amazon's free shipping sure does take a while. You would think that they would ship it out using some cheap slow carrier rather than waiting 5 days to ship it, but what can I say, it's free. I'm waiting to see what shipping carrier they use.
 
mine came today and stupid UPS guy must have done something because a corner is a little bashed in. lets so how amazon handles this, it is pretty clear and a nice size though. great deal but the cosmetics bother me and i dotn even know if theres internal damage.

btw. DMB great avatar; i see she is gaining the popularity she deserves.

When did you order? If you ordered on Wednesday, why is mine taking so long? Just called for a status check and she said that it might not ship out today but if it ships out later, they will use faster shipping to make sure that it gets to me by Friday. She said that it would be coming out of Atlanta, so we'll see what happens. I hope Amazon doesn't screw this up, and I'd love to have the set soon!
 
was it wed? i ordered it the first day it was posted. actual shipping was 2 days it just took them forever to get it out. mine came from nevada i think and im in san diego.
 
Actually, it just shipped and I have a tracking number! Came out of Atlanta.
 
Just updated the UPS information, it'll come on Thursday the 20th, oh well, what can I say, it'll give me something to look forward to this week.
 
maybe it will come earlier mine wasnt supposed to come later this week. lets hope i dont have to wait 2 weeks till the replacement gets here. so check your box when it comes.

Mine shipped out of Nevada as well. Sorry to hear that your TV is shipping kinda slow Erik. I wonder if they had a backorder on them in Atlanta. Let me know if you get a buzzing sound like that guy was saying on an Amazon review. It sounds as if he just got a bad one. Cheers.
