...here it is.

tattoo.jpg

It's on my back (on the left shoulder blade). I really like it. The cherry blossoms are the new part. I had the characters for a while and have wanted to add something to them for a long time. Please leave only nice comments. This is permanent so I don't need any meanies here. LOL

I have the same pic in my Myspace pictures too.

WOW! That looks awesome!! I want to go get my next one now. :teeth:

I can't get on MySpace...It keeps loading then it goes to an error page. :(

It's very pretty. I too, want to know what the characters mean....:noidea:

Also, how big is it?

Looks nice and healed, clean, and, clear! Nice choice!

Faerie wants to keep us in suspense........perhaps I should talk about something else until you answer??????....like where will put your next your tatoo:questionmark:

:p

Very pretty Faerie. What does the Chinese symbol stand for??

I'm so jealous as I haven't gotten mine yet.

nice tattoo. U know what I'm gonna ask... what do the characters mean? :)

We were at rehearsal for the show all day...LOL...thanks for all the nice comments guys. I am 99% sure that the characters mean Passionate love for eternity. (My fear is that someone who speaks Chinese will say that it means something totally different and perhaps horrible.) I got them as a surprise for my sweetie on our anniversary about 7 years ago. It's about 4 3/4 inches wide by 4 1/2 inches high. The artist drew the flowers and branches on me free hand with the marker and worked it until it was perfect. Then I let him work...he was amazing! He chose not to use any black outlining to keep it soft and realistic. I am so thrilled. I had a very good feeling about it. When it was finished he said that he really liked it too. He took some before and after pictures, they might end up in his tattoo book in the shop. I went to Aces & Eights tattoo and piercing shop in Augusta, Georgia. The owner, Robert Twilley was the artist. I recommend him to anyone in the area.

Nice! I'm into tats alot. I have 8 myself, still working on my next ones. I have one that I designed that my husband just got, and I will be getting it when I find the right spot.
We used to have a shop ourselves and had a Chinese symbols book, don't know where my son put it. I'll find it and look up the symbols for you.

I have to admit that I am not into tattoo's at all. However, Faerie yours is beautiful and so delicate. The colors are very pretty and feminine.
