I do a lot of rebates and have learned that the first thing I do is to look at the rebate form and if the company is too cheap to hire a fulfillment company to handle their rebate processing, you have a much, much higher chance of not getting your rebate check. Especially those companies in City of Industry, CA like this one. I'm very careful on the rebates I fill out (and extremely persistent on follow-ups) and get 99% of my rebate checks, but no longer bother buying anything with a rebate not handled by a fulfillment company--especially those in CA, particularly in City of Industry. Never been there, but there must be a lot of foreign tech companies there.
