solar pool heating....

Well...as for the first suggestion....I really couldn't trust you not to pee in my pool....

As for the second....you missed the point ...I really don't want to increase my electric bill....:convinced:....unless............:hmmmm2:...I run a really long extension cord and secretly plug it into my neighbors next door.....you know, the ones who throw obnoxious parties and pee in my driveway (oops! sorry that was you in my driveway)....;)

Good thought diGriz... :shakehands: ..bring your float, come on over, jump in and distract then while I plug it in......:bigok:

You want to warm your pool water with sunlight yet it's already being warmed by sunlight cause it's outside, right? Hmmm, Throw some black plastic on the top that should absorb more.

The 'black plastic' is not an option as it would be large and cumbersome to remove for swimming. It would also be a hazard it someone fell into the pool on top of it, like a child....:( Not an option.

I do want to go solar, it's all ready to go. I just need to find a deal on the panels......and/or recommendations for which company/panels/etc.

At least you're doing it for the right reason (not increasing your power bill) and not some bogus "carbon footprint" bologna.

So no one here does solar pool heating? :hmmmm2:

Ok

So no one here does solar pool heating? :hmmmm2:

I didn't want to do it, but I guess I will have too....

One, two, three....

there...I just moved the earth closer to the sun for you. :proud:

Let me know if you need it warmer and I will move it again.;)

I remember the old days. You'd get some black plastic hose & put it in the sun & pump your pool water through it.

Basically that's what the panels are.....just black plastic tubes that absorb the heat from the sun and gets circulated back into the pool.

Okay, no help from you bunch of jokers! :p I ordered my panels today (ka-ching, ka-ching, ka-ching) ....we'll see how it goes........
