I have a few friends from Japan that was saying how this new company "Sakana AI" could be the next unicorn.
How Nvidia, KDDI, Mizuho, and other big institutions have invested in them.
Get in while you still can. They are hiring, etc.
But one problem. When I visit the Sakana AI website, I see nothing of substance.
What is it that they do?
Just another hyped up vaporware to collect investor funds.
Right now, I see headlines like how the AI startup Sakana AI is worth $1.5B.
What is the technology? The one or two images they have a fish? Their logo? What a scam.
I could be wrong. They could hire the right people and become something, but for now... it's quite insane that a group of people can just use buzzwords like AI + Japan + Nvidia + startup and be worth $1.5b.
