A Note from Spoofee

The Rep Game makes the reputation points meaningless.

I have locked the thread and made a note. As for taking everyone's reputation points away, it might be impossible to distinguish reputation points from gaming to others.

Now we all know.

I could see if the accumulated points were actually worth something....like that Cadillac I was promised....:wink:....but isn't this all a 'game'?

We all know who the 'real' contributors are and who the jokesters are....and sore losers too....:wink:

Note from Spoofee : I originally enabled reputation points so users can have seniority or feel awarded for making helpful posts. This game seems to make reputation points into more of a game point. I'll lock this thread for now.

oh well was fun while it lasted ....... i thought that was the whole point... reps dont mean anything and this was a fun way of give reps to all. Besides isnt that what the thanks button does????

I think it made light of the fact that rep points made the site competitive and no one was looking for competition around here. At least I don't think

Holy cow, I was trying to be funny. This Internet thing doesn't work so well when you can't hear any inflection of voice. Sorry to all who were offended.

By the way, I liked the game because it was fun.
