Well I'm too lazy to read all the links right now, or even all of Mrs Bradys post, (but thanks for all that work!)...to answer the question..

Yes, now that you've said it I will indeed be compelled to purchase an extra bag or two next time I shop. Of course I tend to hoard groceries in the best of times anyway. You should have seen my pantry back in Dec. of 1999. Not that I believed all the hype but it's just in my personality to gather and prepare for any emergency and I can't afford the therapy to get myself fixed.

And speaking of rice, go onto freerice.com. You can play a vocabulary game and at the same time you may be learning something, you are also donating rice to the United Nations World Food Program. It's fun!

I think there is a vocabulary shortage and that is affecting the rice production.

That's probably the reason for the rice shortage......the vocabulary test!

It happens here too, when there's a spelling 'test' (aka Grammar Nazis/Ill-mannered Spell Checkers) we get a 'shortage' of Spoofers here too!

So whatever became of the 'great rice shortage':questionmark:

No problems purchasing rice around here....
