The "-2" in the model number appears to mean you will get a pair of them.

Maybe a good gift for your worst enemy considering they take 3-AAA batteries each. Thats 6 AAA batteries total. Could be quite expensive in the long run even with buying rechargables and a larger charger.

the AAA batteres are a pain in the @$!#$..
even rechargeable ones wear out quick. I dont know why they cant make the size a bit bigger and us AA cells which hold much more charge, and cheaper /watt available
 
Well I'm on the waiting list ... #619. :( I was going to call and ask them a few questions about them, but I can't find a phone number on the site. Does anyone have these? ... If so, are they decent?

You must not like him much. The license to use these is around $80 per family (but the license is good for several years). Without a license, the FCC fine could be a few thousand dollars.

Admittedly, the odds of getting caught are almost zero, but you should know...

???Yikes! My husband and his whole family use these while hunting. And we take ours to the mall all the time. They should put something on the packaging if you need a license!
