Lack of information on new home page

The home page is now in a chunky format with emphasis on an unnecessary photo instead of the actual deal information that matters.

There are plenty of companies which aren't convenient or I don't have an account with or who I don't want to buy from. Having to click through to the deal in order to find out the seller makes the site painfully slow to use. Can you put the full details back on the home page?

Or at least provide an option for users to see the old (vastly better) format instead of the new one?
 
I liked and prefer the old format too. Even though it was "narrow" and not "stretchy", it still provided more info on the deals and was more friendly to the eye.
I also agree with "Kremmen".
 
Thank you Kremmen for starting this thread. I too prefer the old Spoofee layout with items presented as a list. There was more information available without having to drill into each listing for additional information. For example, one could see the name of the retailer, one could tell if comments were posted, one could see the google shopping price reference to get an idea of the magnitude of the discount, etc.

Your site now looks like every other deal aggregator, many of which I don't use because of layout, or what I like to call information noise. Spoofee distilled the day's deals down to a handful of actual deals presented in a way that was easy to consume the information.

As a long-time Spoofee site user, please give us a choice to consume the information in the old layout. This migration of every UI on everything to "tiles" harkens back to preschool. My two cents.

I guess the only other thing to do is use pass wird dot com instead.
It's not as good as spoofee's old format, but way better than the current format.
 
Thanks Kremmen. I didn't even know about pass wird. The site format is similar to Spoofee's old format. I also use hot deals club dot com. They're even more selective with even fewer deals per day and the site it text based like craigs list. Loads quickly.
 
I'm not sure this is what you're looking for, but to see the deals listed, try clicking on the 'Community' tab at the top of the page and then to 'Hot Deals'. I think they are listed like always there. Hope this helps

Not really. Appreciate the suggestion but not the same view as the old, wonderful, Spoofee Page. Oh, woe is us.
 
Woah, I have had a fever for the past several days and Spoofee looks like this. I need more rest. (And someone stop this pounding in my head!)

I'm wondering if there is a way to view the old format too...
 
Yay! Went to Spoofee just now, 31 Dec 2015, 1:55 PM Eastern Time, and the old faithful format is back!! Oh, happy days. Hope it is back for good and not just a fluke.
 
Hooray, Spoofee original list format is back today, Dec 31, 2015 with all the pertinent information that frugal web shoppers expect. Thank you Spoofee developers for listening. Your site is a sweet spot of online deals. Happy new year to all.
