January 2011 Allure Giveaways

I sent an email out today about the January 7 B. Bronze body wash prize. We'll see if they reply. The email they sent was back on March 12 and it said we'd get the product in a few weeks.

What email did you use to contact B.Bronz ?!I got the winning email a long time ago..and nothing yet....

I'm not holding out much hope for the B Bronze company. I saw on other forums that they claimed to have sent all the prizes out weeks ago and basically saying it's out of their hands.

So far I haven't heard anything back from them at all.

Thanks, lovefreebees, for getting the January list. I won three and have received two--no B.Bronz here, either. I wonder--did anyone actually RECEIVE this item? Does it even exist? And what the hell do they mean by it's out of their hands? Huh? They are contractually responsible for sending prizes to the winners. If they think they can wiggle out of it, they are in for trouble from me and Allure.
 
Pat, I sent off an email to Allure and they said they're going to look into it. B Bronz seems to be really lacking in customer service skills.
 
I replied to their winning notice email today (again) as follows:

I haven't received a reply to my inquiry. Where is this item? I am on the winners' list and have not received any further communication from you since I received this email. I will be advising Allure that you have not sent out the prizes per your contractual obligation. This is not acceptable. And to ignore my email asking for updated information is insulting.
 
I received the email about winning also.Still havent received.and I also sent them 2 emails at the company.Thanks

They answered my email today.It said the item was shipped out in April.Thats it.I guess they assume if I didnt get it,so what.Didnt seem to caring about owning up to giving you what you won.

I finally got a response from B Bronz, saying the prizes were all mailed out in mid April, some by UPS and some by USPS and when I would get mine depends on what region I'm in.

Seriously the most ridiculous and unprofessional thing ever.

Oh and Allure never got back to me after they said they'd "look into it."

I sent Be Bronze an email about four days ago, and they never responded back. What a way to gain potential new customers. :nonod:
 
I got an email from B.Bronz as well--and they said they're in their "busy season." It was ambiguous about whether all the prizes had been shipped or not, but I wrote back asking for a tracking # if they think it was shipped or a date when it will be shipped. This company should go out of business.
 
Pat, let me know if you get a reply. I also sent an email asking for a tracking number. I was so nice and sweet about it. It almost killed me since what I really want to tell them would get me permanently blocked from their site. lol
 
Well, I wasn't any "Sugar or 'Spice'" about it. I told them everybody is busy--not just their shipping dept. and that they have mis-handled this promotion. The girl said that they were trying to answer emails as best they could, that they weren't "ignoring me," and some other nonsense. Just send out the damn prizes and nobody will bother you. They better get it together. I'll give them a few more days to reply and then I'll go back and report to Allure that this is getting insane.

And other news: got an email from Laura Brinker. I almost deleted it since it had no subject line. It was a notification that I was a winner of the Venus razor from January. Oh, and the email has every winners' email address on there. Ugh! I so hate when they do that kind of thing.
