Well I don't think the discount shows up live in your cart. You have to purchase the product at retail price and then wait for Microsoft to confirm your purchase (they also have the wait period to make sure you don't return the product and try to claim free money). Think of it as a mail in rebate.

My question to everyone is, what exactly do you mean by new contract? My contract is up, I am going to sign a new 2 year contract for the 3GS, do I qualify for the cash back? How can I confirm what a "new contract" is?
 
just confirming that this worked for me. ordered it around 3am yesterday and got the email from bing for the $69.65 cash back. ordered the 3G S 16gig 450min/1500 text plan. just make sure you use IE (?) like people said in previous posts. double check that the bing icon is at the bottom right of the front page of att before you go adding the phone to your cart. :peace:
 
That was my question exactly. When you try to check out, it asks if you want a new number or your number to be transferred. Already being an AT&T customer, i don't need to transfer my number. I just need to sign a new 2 year contract because my previous contract is over. When said number is entered, it gives an error saying that the number can not be trasferred over.
 
AT&T limits internet buyers to just one iphone purchase at this time.

I need two (one for wifey).

I'm hoping the Bing thing still works and the site allows multiple sales after the 19th (no longer pre-order).

If so, I'm in...

FYI: it took 72 hours (so be prepared to wait an extra day or so)

Hmm, I tried this just now and after I clicked on the link here I saw the bing logo on the bottom right corner of the ATT site but after I login, it's gone. I tried doing it again and I can't see it anymore. Could they have removed it?
