dehawk,

Where you able to get your wireless card working again after using NetStumbler?

It depends on the chipset used by ur card. I've seen different cards. Some card disable ur connection while using netstumbler but some doesn't.

If ur card doesn't work while using netstumbler, close netstumbler, it will works back.

dude not only did i close iut , i also uninstalled it , i then did a system restore .

For some reason my internall wireless card does not show up as a network adaptor in the device manager now. I think it shows up under unknown usb device.

May be u uninstalled ur driver as well. You may need to reinstall ur driver.

Remove the device and then go to the control panels and scan for new hardware. That should detect it and reinstall it.

Has anyone experiemented with this any further? I'm no wiz at any of this but from some of the diagrams I've seen and my past work installing DirecTV I've got access to some pretty big dish's. Is there anyway to make these bi-directional so you could feed the signal from point A to B over a decent distance?
