Free kids clinics at Home Depot!

My boys went to one of these a couple years ago. It was really fun! They each got little Home Depot aprons to wear and keep, and they got to keep what they did! (a painted flower pot with flowers they planted inside)

No we live in the middle of no where... our nearest store is an hour away... :(

Home Depot's kid clinics are wonderful! Lowes does them also. If you go to their online websites, there is a calendar of events. You can type in your zip code and find out what they are going to build on a particular Saturday. My son has made pirate ships, memory boxes, wooden turkeys, race cars, mail holders...the list goes on and on. He has goggles and aprons from each store. He has a blast with daddy! Good Post!

Sounds like they had a great time! I'll bet you still use the flowerpots too! - love those little kid creations! :) If you live near a Lowes store, check for the workshops there. I'd bet they offer them to get a leg up on the competition! Also, if you're into crafts, our local Michaels and AC Moore also offers clinics for kids too!

That does sound like great quality dad and son pal time! They always like to do the "big guy" stuff ... It's amazing how many free activities there are for kids! I also get free passes from our local library to for trips to the Museum of Science and New England Aquarium - although I was caught smuggling in our own snacks from home!
