Free 1 Year Amazon.com Prime Account for .EDU Email Addresses

Prime is great, but I dont pay the whole boat. Split it with my cousin, so they dont necessarily check addresses on the account. I love being able to order anythign whenever i want, without having to worry about minimums for free shipping. about half the stuff I order gets to me in a day, without upgrading from the 2 day shipping. I do the bulk of my shopping on Amazon now, as most times it is cheaper, plus I can have the stuff quickly.

How long does it take ??

Darn how long has it taken others to be approved on Australia's website ?? It's almost been 24 hrs and still nothing.....so I signed up again and said I live in Australia.... I hope something works though because I shop on Amazon all the time.

Finally got around to checking if my old school email was still active so I could attempt this, it isn't. I guess I will have to bite the bullet soon and pay full price.

still haven`t gotten 'approved' for free australian .edu email shux
 
I don't think it matters now, I read elsewhere that they are no longer accepting addresses from them.

Same for me. I've been a member since '06 and just got back $52.93 because of this.

1. If you already have a Student Prime account, go here to cancel the current Prime subscription

Go into My Account and then click on Manage My Prime. Uncheck the automatically renew button.

As I understand it you don't get the 'extras' Amazon throws in to Prime membership for paying members with a .edu Prime account. i.e. free streaming movies and tv shows.

Seriously I can't find it either. I wonder if it's because I signed up as a free year trial in the beginning.
