(Filled) Olay Regenerist Starter Trio First 1,000 2-24-10

Finally got into their site and the starter trio sample are all gone but you can purchase it now it said.
 
From exactly noon until 12:03 it only displayed the come back at 12 PM screen, from then until 12:06 it went back and forth between server unavailable ad server busy, then at 12:07 a screen saying they were all gone came up. Complete BS. I emailed them as well.
 
I e-mailed them asking "Where the hell was the form?" I never saw a form. Tried three browsers--nothing but various versions of "service unavailable." I'd like to know how 1000 people got a form. Worse than Allure...and that's saying something. I'm sure a lot of people e-mailed them, but I'm sure we'll just get a boiler-plate response, if any.

But, congrats to zappazoe....don't know how you did it.

I emailed them and asked if there really was a contest. I got the form early, hit submit and then server busy, etc. I explained to them that they display a lack of respect for their customers time and it is not appreciated.
 
I actually called them after I couldn't get through and complained to a supervisor. She pretty much told me it was a contest, it's filled and anyone complaining about it needs to get over it. I was shocked at her very rude response and told her they just lost a customer because I use Olay products and I told her I would now throw them away and would never buy them again because of her and her utter disregard for their customers. I told her the only way anyone was able to get a kit was if they were a computer hacker and since I am not one, I was out of luck along with a lot of other people and it wasn't fair. I then wrote an email to their customer service which I'm sure will go unanswered. We will all know it was a scam when one person is selling 996 of them on Ebay in a couple of months. (I say 996 because I have seen on other boards as well as this one that at least 4 people have won one)
 
Well that was a waste of time. I started refreshing at 11:59 and kept refreshing for the next 45 mins and never saw anything but server errros or server busy. In fact...when I try to get the page up now...I STILL get Server errors. WTH?

I am very curious how zappazoe managed to get through at 11:05 when the contest didn't open until 12:00?I tried for 36 minutes and couldn't get through because the server was busy.I am glad someone actually won.These contests sound fixed to me,almost the way Allure handles their contests.Zappazoe this is NOT aimed at you,its all good.I am just saying there must be a glitch somewhere.
If anyone has the email or phone number to complain about this,please share it.

I am pretty sure she meant 11:05 A.M. Central, which would be 12:05 P.M. Eastern.

I'm on CST, should have clarified...sorry about that. So it was 12:05 when I got through finally. I got to the sign up form & put in my info several times & kept getting an error or server busy message, but I hit the back button & would try again over & over real fast & it finally went through within a few tries. I guess I just got lucky. Sorry no one else on here got through =(
 
Congrats Zappazoe!! I would really have liked to gotten in on this too, but I am happy at least one of us did!!
 
it wasnt even up when i was on the page at around 12:05 then i thought "okay lemme get something to drink" and by the time i came back its gone! woww..*sigh*

I had this open and refreshing in 2 windows. :cry::cry: nothing!
 
I also was unable to get thru when this opened. I tried to call them, but after going thru
multiple prompts, I got that all representatives were busy and to try again and then the
system automatically disconnects you! I tried twice and same thing happened both times.
I also sent off an email saying that I was disappointed in the contest because I kept getting
the server busy message and even more disappointed that when I go thru multiple prompts,
I can't even wait on hold or leave a message-the systems just disconnects. I also love
Olay products and purchase them frequently. Very disappointed.
