(Expired) free tote bag

From marketing standpoint they will get lots of clicks...coffee searches will have this hoping you stay instead going...but if I need a cup of joe--I would rather not look like one some of those are so hideous in the only a mother could love them category but even that is stretching it for this mama! Ugh! This is major NO WAY! :)

No totes will be coming per their e-mail to me after I inquired about the whereabouts of my tote bag. They simply said they ran out. Sorry--too bad--sucker! I wrote back saying that it was very suspicious that no one I knew who had requested this had received one, and they actually wrote back again as follows:

That is b/c our site actually crashed from being listed on the free gift website so we did not receive any of the requests. However, our site did say it was until supplies lasted and we received over 30000 hits in two days so yes no one will be receiving the totebags. Sorry you are disappointed

They "ran out", but never really gave them out? hmmm...how exactly does that work?

just one more reason to hate the fashionestas in NYC for offering stuff they don't intend on giving... in my day we called that indian giving in this politically correct day its called bait and switch... they baited us in with free gifts but switched to sayin HA WE RAN OUT BUT THANKS FOR YOUR EMAIL INFO so we can spam your butt!

am i the only one that sees some of these offers kinda like a STD yeah you know what I mean... they offer goods but when you sign up they give you junk mail and spam (the gift that keeps on givin) just a thought

Well, I'll tell you what....what upsets me is not so much that I didn't get a tote myself, but the fact that they gave none out. That doesn't speak well for the company not making good on the offer - I mean - come on - atleast reinstate the offer and try again.

I agree... They said they didn't give any out because their servers crashed with 30,000 hits in 2 days. Ok, well then update your server & reinstate the offer... and when the totes run out, have it note that they've run out. Not that hard. I'm betting they have some not-too-intelligent people replying to these emails b/c the way they're replying (ie: verbiage) doesn't really communicate that it was a system crash that LOST the info, but rather that they just decided not to give any of the items out.

Oh well, the tote was prob. about as cute as their coats. ;) LOL LOL

I got an email from them to let me know about their new items.. just yuck..
so sent them an email back.


I can save your store money, time and having to fraud people by saying you will compensate them for completing your survey... and then not upholding your end after the fact.

your coats aren't selling online because they are UGLY .. It has noting to do with your website ... lol

If they did actually have the totes to begin with they probably will reinstate the offer, just probably wanted to keep it away for us freebie seekers. :(

I agree w/ both dixie78 and Kaija! They're just looking to try and peddle their wears w/out having to give a thing out! And I agree their coat are BUTT UGLY!!! I can only imagine what their totes were like! But free is free..if i didn't like it could've peddled it off to someone at work! LMAO!
 
i haven't gotten an email saying there were none as of yet, so we wait and see.

Sorry, Smidge--but please read Post #24 to see what they said. They never sent any and they aren't sending any. I suggested running the offer again, etc., but I don't think that will happen.
