(Expired) Free Stuff from Doctor Oz Tomorrow 11/2

So, who is going to send the obligatory, vitriolic e-mail to the Dr. Oz show?? What a ripoff. Personally, I wanted the eye exam as I really, really need one and my insurance has changed my options (loved the guy I used to go to). I was also trying for the Target card and vitamins. Got zilch--not even a FORM on any of them. How did anyone even get a form? Did you have the announcement page up beforehand and then refresh that? I just clicked on the links in the OP--probably not the best approach. Between this and the November Allure nonsense, I'm really mad.
 
I kept clicking the little box on the right side of the screen (Dr. Oz home page) that had the Sketchers picture on it. It kept "timing out" except one time I looked and the form was on my screen! I was so excited. I filled out my name and email for the Sketchers. That was all of the information that the form requested. It was the Sketchers form because it showed a picture of the shoes. I hit the submit button and then as it was processing, the dreaded "timed out" screen popped up again! Aaaaack...I had my hopes up for a quick minute. Should of known better.
 
You might be surprised--it may have taken even though you didn't get the "Thank You" screen (as some have reported about the vitamins). After all, 800 people will get a pair of shoes. Never thought of going to the Dr. Oz page (wherever that is). Were all the giveaways shown with little boxes? Maybe that's how they got all the winners for everything. Oh, gosh--I really wanted a free eye exam!
 
I couldn't find it on the Dr. Oz site. Didn't know there was a different link for the Target so kept clicking the one that was posted. Got the form filled out for the sneakers and then...error!
 
Boy would I be excited if my form actually "took". That would be a surprise! I have not heard from anyone that actually got a confirmation that they won anything. I did see a post (here maybe) that someone said that they would be notified on Nov. 9th if they won. (I think it was the Target gift card)

Don't think they meant to be sounding Angry, Tutz...I was also confused and getting my hopes up because you kept saying "site says PT" when all your posts (like I copied above) show "3 pm ET/ 12 pm PT" and not 3 pm PT. :) I for one was hoping I was just reading it wrong, which is why I questioned you, but 3pm ET does = 12pm PT.

I didn't get into any of them and I was a refreshing fool for awhile there!! :lol:
 
So who the hell won all the prizes anyway? And how did they get all the forms to fill out? This sort of reminds me of the Sea Cuisine thing back in January (I think--was in the Sunday paper and their server was horrible). But at least I did get four people in on that eventually. I had no chance at all with this one.
 
I got the 24 Hour Fitness Pass.

I saw on Obese Billfold that someone got the eye exam. Don't recall anyone else posting that they got in. Haven't checked on Slick Deals or any of the other "freebie" website.
 
I didn't mean to sound angry...I think I was more just frustrated by the whole Dr. Oz crapola. I sent him an email but I doubt I'll ever hear anything back.

Wow! Congratulations! Did you receive any type of confirmation when you filled out the form? I got my form filled out but I never new if it made it through.
 
No, I just checked my email about an hour ago, and it said I was one of the first 800 ppl that won a free pair of shape ups!! I NEVER win anything, This was a total shock!! I didn't have any trouble filling out the form for the shoes, Just NEVER dreamed I would ever win a pair!! You get to choose from 3 pairs, 2 for the ladies and 1 for the men.. And when they are delivered someone has to sign for them.. So they want to make sure someone is home.... I'm still in shock!!

I hope others win them too!! Oh and 1 more thing.. you do have to enter a credit card number.. but your card will NOT be charged!! I used my unemployment debit card which has $0.00 on it and they took it!! Good luck everyone!!
 
Check your emails if you entered for the Target card. I just got an email that I was one of the first 5000. Hope lots of you get the same happy surprise in your imbox. :)

Whooo Hoooo . No email but my Target $50 Gift Card Came today in the mail.. reg envelope. On the paper that the Target Gift card was attached to it said From the Dr Oz Show! Whooo hoooo! Be on the lookout folks they've already been mailed out!
 
I just got my shape ups!! ups man brought them to the door I told him what they were and he said he bought a pair and had to take them off after an hour!! LOL!! I was thinking that was not too smart to wear a new pair of shoes in his line of work... Anyway,, they are so cute!!
