(Expired) Free 12-Issue Subscription to Jane Magazine for Survey

Thanks! The page came up funny for me too, the married one didn't show... so I just clicked on single. It went through fine!

I filled out a form for a free Jane subscription over 6 months ago & never recieved it. This is the 3rd offer for free Jane mag since then...think someone is just collecting our info.

DOH!!! I wish I'd known about this before I'd redeemed my Coke Rewards points for a subscription to Jane! Oh well, maybe I'll get two copies now. :)

Well, you won't be getting them now for sure. Jane is folding and will cease publicatio next month.(Source)

I just got my first issue a few weeks ago, too. I wonder if they're going to substitute a different magazine?

I called the company on Monday to ask them what they're going to do with our subscriptions since Jane is going to cease publication in August. The customer service rep said they were going to substitute another magazine, but they had no idea which one. Yeah, thanks for all your help.

Unbelievable...I just got this in the mail today!!! I LOVE FREEBIES!!!

Received my first issue yesterday. Thanks again Mainebear.:bigok:

Recieved my first issue yesterday, too :)

Jane magazine to cease publication

Jane magazine will cease publication with its August issue, it was announced today by Charles H. Townsend, President & CEO of Condé Nast Publications. The website, janemag.com, will also be shut down.

"This was a very difficult decision for us," Mr. Townsend said. "We worked diligently to make Jane a success. However, we have come to believe that the magazine and website will not fulfill our long-term business expectations."

That the Jane site will also be shuttered is a shift in strategy from other recent high profile magazine closings. Hachette's ElleGirl.com and Time Inc.'s TeenPeople.com were spared in their respective print killings.

I just got my first issue yesterday too and today I found this on another message board. It sounds like the replacement magazine will be Glamour. :convinced:

I received my first issue yesterday as did others, and if they substitute Glamour, that'd be OK with me. I guess RewardsGold is the sponsor, so they'd be the one to ask.
