(Expired) Free 1 Year Subscription to TV Guide

Usually, magazine companies have 3rd party businesses handle the special promotions and freebies. What happens is that they will batch send to tv guide all the info that people submitted sometime in the near future. Say, December. THen, Tv Guide will process it and put all the names in their system. On the webspage, it did say allow up to 10 weeks for delivery, I believe. Realistically, I would guess that people will recieve their first issue around the end of December or maybe even the first week of January. But until then, no record of your submission to TV Guide will be in the companie's database.

Still no TV Guide...anyone?

I still have yet to receive TV Guide...has anyone? I again contacted TV Guide by phone and they have no record of my order or, for that matter, any such free subscription promotion. Operator stated it was not an authentic offer (from her knowledge) and suggested that it was possibly a scam or fraudulent. Who originally posted offer (DsDen?) and where did they get it from?
 
I don't know if I had signed up for this but I did recieve Tv Guide starting 2 weeks ago and I got a bill also. My bill was for 15.00 and for only 26 weeks.

Again I don't know if this was from this deal or from a different deal.
 
I never got TV Guide from this offer either, disappointing after all the trouble to order!

I was pretty lucky that I didn't spend to much time trying to get this one. I just wish it was that way for all spoofeers.
 
When I went into their website to check on the subscription, the message came back that they couldn't find my subscription so therefore I was not a customer.

So much for free!
 
It was probably some scam to get email addresses to send you spam.
