(Expired) Domino's - Free 1-Topping Medium Pizza - YMMV

Dominos Called me.. says no good cancelling the order

Dominos Called me.. says no good cancelling the order:cry:

Wouldn't give them my money. Monaghan's a conservative Catholic dictator in the making. It's his way or no way at all. Separation of church and pizza...

Monaghan sold the company 10 years ago to the investment group that owns Staples. I was working for Domino's at the time; worked for them on and off for about 10 years.

I went and picked it up and she made the comment that I had already paid. I nodded and she handed me the pizza. Easy as that. I had a friend who schedule his for 12:30. They interrogated him as to where he got the code. He told them he saw it on a commercial. They called their district manager and his response was that someone had hacked the computer and put a fake code out there. But they were going to honor it anyway. So they gave him his pizza.

I managed to pickup my pizza I ordered this morning at lunch time, no problems and no questions asked... awesome find!

Ended up grabbing 4 free for my office. Thanks Spoofee!

Went to try to enter the 5th adn got the error stated above. But 4 isn't bad at all :)
NOM NOM NOM

Free Pizza

Got mine... eating it now! I tried it again to see if it still worked and it is now coming up stating that the code is invalid.

Goes to show that you have to jump as soon as you see these offers!

Thanks Spoofee!

This was a corporate-driven promotion, placed on the website without franchisee knowledge. There has been an occurrence of someone in NC ordering SIXTY free pizzas under this code - and as such, many franchisees are (rightfully) scrambling to disable it.

No harm to Domino's - but that small business owner is feeling the sting. Don't abuse it!

60 is a bit excessive but for what it costs to make a medium pie it might be the best advertising value a franchisee could get. It is less than $1 even with the high food costs to make one; never pay full pricee for pizza, the markup is about 10 times the cost.

i ordered a pizza and went to pick it up, they said i needed the actual coupon to get it. oh well. they just wasted a medium pizza i guess. good thing i'm not too fond of their pizza or i'd be upset but awesome for all of you that got it :)

Sorry I dont like Domino's pizza and I wouldnt eat it even if its free

Monaghan doesn't own Domino's Pizza.

Domino pizza sucks. I refrain from eating them even though it 's free.
It 's so oily and salty, stop eating from them before they clot you arteries in the heart.

Domino's is by far the best pizza! Don't give me that around the corner local guy crap pizza. Except for a few really good independants, you'll get overcharged for an inferior pizza most of the time.

Try Domino's Oven Baked Sandwiches, they are AWESOME! And only 4.99 in our local stores, what a deal!

I completely agree about the small business owners. Several people I know have their own business & things like this are difficult to recover from. Abusing the freebies like that just ruins it for everyone. :mmph:

I disagree; in this economy you gotta do what you can to get customers. The Domino's closest to me moved recently and I have no idea where since if we order franchise pizza it's from Hungry Howie's. If I would have used the code I may have found them and possibly given them future business.

I am amazed that this worked.....but it did! I ordered on-line and picked up my free pizza at 12:15 today. I am usually not a big fan of Domino's but it was good....especially since it was free.

60?!? - that's just ridiculous...

Anyway - I picked up our pizza for me and the kiddos, no problems. Thanks again.

My Dominos called me back and left a message that a hacker put this coupon on. They told me they were canceling my pizza.

It wasn't a hacker! That's crap! I went online this morning around 9:30am and tried to find it around central NJ. A few were not participating but one near me was so I ordered it for 11:30am pickup. I left the website open and it showed the pizza cooking countdown process and then when it was finished I left and went to pick it up.

When I got there the guy said there was a mistake and they didn't plan on participating. I asked why my pizza showed as being cooked online and why I didn't get a phone call canceling my order so I could save the gas.

He said his franchise owner said they were honoring it if I would buy another $10 of product. I told him I would happily buy a $10 gift card. He asked me to wait 10 minutes and he made me my free pizza and gave it to me without purchasing the gift card.

If it was a hacker why would it work at some Domino's and not others? I think it was an opt-out promotion and some franchisees simply had their heads up their butts and ignored it until too late. Then today when thousands of orders came swarming in they cried to corporate to shut it down.

I do have to admit that ordering more than 1 pizza is totally classless. I own a restaurant as an investment and we do promos occasionally but we frown on *ssh*les who abuse something.
