If this is still valid - this is a _smoking_ hot deal on a badass machine. That is a LOT of computer for not a lot of money.

Am I missing something? It's not Win7, it's 8, and there doesn't seem to be a customization option.

Still trying to make backup and restore disks. Had a problem but evidently because I needed to download something from Dell (it eventually popped on the screen saying I needed some file). Both have now been created on Flash Drives. Only disappointment and not really that big a deal there was no slip listing each items in the computer. Used to have a detailed list when purchase from Dell. But that's minor. I am still learning Windows 8 decided had to make the move sometime and my Windows 7 still sitting here to use if I get stuck. Now in process of loading software on Windows 8 so far all is well.

One[/url] thing that was a surprise was this has an add on graphics card so you plug your monitor into the graphics card not the normal plug on the pc. So on the graphics card your choices are Display Port and DVI-I Dual Link both require a specific connection. So make sure your monitor has one of these before you buy. I use Display Port.
Again still learning but my windows 7 was an xps 8700 and I have had it for 5 years no complaints it is a good machine.

You cannot order machines with Windows 7 anymore. Win 7 is sold stand alone only or with existing stock (on built machines.) Don't worry, you can make Windows 8.1 look exactly like Windows 7 (you don't have to use the Win 8 interface.)
