Interesting, still not letting me place it. I put in my card ID when it asks for it and hit continue order, and it takes me back out to my shopping cart. Let me call them.

How did you call them? I can't find a phone number.

I'm just so glad to be surrounded by such perfect people that have never made a mistake in their lives. :)

Buy.com made a mistake. If they were trying to pull a fast one by taking money out of your account and waiting a long time to refund it back for a purchase they knew they would never honor, then Buy.com would be guilty of a crime. But making a mistake isn't a crime, especially when you knew right from the beginning that it was a mistake and knew darn well that there was no way in heck anyone would offer that product at that price. Lets get real here.

Though it was fun to read the entire thread, wondering, hoping that maybe, just maybe someone might have actually succeded! I know my parents once got a free frig because of an invoicing mistake by a company. Even after arduously attempts to explain they hadn't purchased one, they reluctantly accepted it.

My 2 cents.

Yeah, they don't put their phone number up in their website probably because of this issue we're having. I had to do a google search to get their number. It's free to call and I think its 24/7.
1-877-780-2464 is the number. I always talked to a person of Indian descent when I called, kinda made it hard to get my point across. They didn't really understand why I was annoyed.
