(Dead) Hitachi 80GB 2.5" Notebook Hard Drive for $34.50 *Website error

Yep. Thats the same info posted on their site. Hence the confusion.

i'm just going to cancel my order. we all can't get a clear answer because the billing department is closed for the weekend. once we give them our order numbers they will tell us what we got and if we can cancel our order.

Im going to let it come. What if the phone guys are telling people its a tray so people will cancel and they dont lose money? What if the tech support guys are mistaken and giving the phone guys the wrong info? What if... what if... what if...?

I can always send it back if I dont get drives, but if I cancel it and someone says "Yay! Its a drive!" I will shoot myself. Figuratively, of course.

Hmm. the number 13N6805 isnt anywhere on that page. But the 80GB drive is listed as 09N4273. Of course, there could be more than one part number depending if its a hitachi or a toshiba or whatever. I'll find out soon enough, and Ill report back when I have the box in hand.

Please look on page 197 (lower right hand corner) or use the .pdf numbering page 202 of 260 for Item number 5, look for the different types of HD available for this machine.

It is there.

It's actually page 203, and I wonder if IBM will try and send out the tray instead of the drive?

Hey, refurb is better than nothing, sometimes all the refurb means, is someone opened the drive and sent it back, so it wasn't in its factory clean, sealed bag.

i'll wait for mine also. i just hope its the drive, i don't think it is but why not take a chance. i can always return it.

By looking at that price, it looks like that, that is the Drive, and tray, so hopefully they will send the drive.

Uhh, they better send the drive. I will scream bloody murder. I will show them a tantrum such as the gods would throw.
