NEW TWIST on BESTBUTT K-Y Rebate Scam

I too have had a problem with this BESTBUY K-Byte Scam.
I boughy 2 memory sticks and sent in the rebate forms. Many months later I received my two $10 rebate checks.

3 DAYS AFTER THEIR VOID DATE.

That kind of precision takes talent and forethought.

After reading the other sad tales here, and in other Forums, I'm guessing that it would be a waste of time to go any further. I have sent a 'nasty-gram' to BestButt and copies everyone on my email list (with recommendation to pass it on).
 
Update again, Yesterday May 13 (from rebate sent in Nov), fedex delivered 2X$15 cehques from conintental promotions for the Kbyte memorey (they already sent a $30 cheque). Absolutely no idea why they have sent again, never heard a thing about it. Thinking about cashing them due to the extreme idiocy of this outfit. I guess they sent the 2nd one becuase of the flurry of inquiries they were getting from BBB, Attorney generals and the FTC.

ALso hearing about a number of Canadians battling Continental promotions over $50 BENQ rebates now many months overdue.
 
Raccoons, I think you deserved the second rebate checks after all that you've gone through and more...
