Can someone email her and ask if it's only for people who emailed... since not all of us emailed them..
I guess they have a record of log ins maybe... the 25+ log ins with no sample requests would show a problem.. but it's Allure kind of expect it will be a screwed up deal.
 
My message from Nancy says basically the same thing as everyone else's...technical difficulties, goes live again on Aug.10th, will receive an email blast next week with further details. We can hope.
 
ok, nancy is a goddess! i just got a 5 pound package via ups from her containing many items...to make up for something I received damaged last year. I LOVE HER! Funny thing, I was just curious and went to ups.com and tracked by the reference "nancy karp" to my zip and it showed that a package was delivered to my front door at 12:30 pm today. UPS lady didn't ring the doorbell...but I ran upstairs and there it was!!! I am thrilled.

Oh, I know how exciting that can be--one time I got a "care package" for some screw-up! If I remember correctly, wasn't your problem from my post about some CVS deal w/the Tresemme bottles in the big box? That was a long time ago...Glad you can put that one to rest. And don't worry about your Lubriderm--I told you I gave your info to my contact. Give it another week.

I am confused about some of the e-mails from Nancy, tho, as they seem different from the one I got. Mine just said they'd have the sampling again on Aug. 10th. She didn't say it was a re-do. It's a re-do? I just thought it was going to be a new batch of samples. Apparently, some people have more updated info (that'll teach me to go out for a whole day of shopping and dinner).

Mine stated that the Virtual Store will reopen on the 10th of august for a sampling for those who were unable to get thru due to technical difficulties.
So I'm not sure who feels as if they were going to be null and voided out for those who were able to get thru.
 
I do want a response. I mean, it's the polite& courteous thing to do when someone has made the effort to contact you; especially if you're a business. I don't want to come across as whiny or angry since the only prize I am waiting on is the Pureology from 2/5/09 and since July isn't over yet; I'll give them their few days. Although if it doesn't come I'll be contacting Pureology and allure...again.:ohwell:
What prizes someone may or may not be missing isn't the point though. I want to feel like someone listened, heard what we were saying and ensures the fiasco of 7/21 doesn't happen again. I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice to get some little "extras" thrown my way because of their mistake.:wink: There were only 3 items I was going to try for, but the point is they didn't make sure everything was working properly.

I just wanted to clarify the comment in bold from my post. I wasn't being serious. Apparently, some have thought that there is an extreme feeling of entitlement or something over here. I just felt I should put that out there for those who don't have a sense of humor. ::frown2:

good morning:) My message only stated that they had tech difficulties that day and the store would reopen on Aug. 10; there would be blast emails within the next week with further details. It sounds like people are getting slightly different messages:confused: I just wanted to know if the people who got through on 7/21 were going to lose out on the items they signed up for?

I wish they'd remove the out of stock items. When (IF?) they put up new items with a submit button, it just makes it so much easier if we don't have to scroll through all the grayed out ones to find new samples.

Not that I'm actually expecting a submit button to be there. lol

Now, now--let's be optimistic. But I totally agree with you--they should take out the old ones. Why clutter up the process? We can get so many more if we can enter faster!
