I didn't see anything about Propane, but it could be included. Call this number 1-800-Joe-4Oil and they will probably be able to tell you.

Please note that this is meant to help families who are facing ECONOMIC HARDSHIP this winter, so that they can continue to keep their homes heated. I think that by signing up for the oil if we don't really *need* it, we may be taking it away from those who may face a terrible winter without the extra oil. I think freebies are great but not at the expense of others in greater need this Christmas season.

Just thankful for this as they have closed heating assistance in our area because of lack of funds..

Thank you for pointing that out, Drifa. I used to work for a State Program in PA that is similar to what this link appears to be.

The funds were very limited and I really hope noone tries to take advantage of this when, as you said, someone else may be really be going without heat.

Joyce, I just read all the nice posts thanking me for my post...I'm embarassed to say that when I first saw your post, my thought was, "yay, 100 gallons for free, wonder what hardship I could claim!!!!!". Luckily, some sense kicked in before I could fill out the form!!!!!!! And then I figured I could help other people sort of avoid the same pitfall!

Anyway, this was a fabulous deal for the right person....great find on your part! BTW, you just post the best deals, I don't know what your secret is!!!!! (computer chip embedded in your arm that notifies you of all deals the second they go online?? :hmm: LOL ).
