19.2oz of M&M Candies for $2.90

Is this the standard size you get at most grocery stores? Just trying to figure out if this is actually a good deal.

This is over a pound of M&Ms. Quite a bit more than the standard grocery store size.

I guess I should have clarified. By standard, I did not mean those 3-4 oz bags that are usually displayed near checkout. I meant the ones in the candy aisle that usually go for $3-4 per bag. But when I do the math, you can usually get the smaller 3-4 oz bags for 50 cents when they're on sale; times 5 and you've this bag for $2.50. Therefore, not a good deal.

Really? I was at Walmart today and the ones they had at checkout were around 3.25 oz. The ones in the candy aisle which I was initially pondering about are around 12 oz and the going rate was around $3. So this 19 oz bag is a better deal compared to that.
