25 % discount or $16 off for the oil change then later spend at least $2,500 to fix your engine. Most of them are not well trained to work on the engine but are well trained on up sales.

Spoofee.com!
Went to take my father's car today and it was around $55 for regular grade oil.
With the $16 off coupon, it came to around $45 after tax.
I used the gift cards I bought for 25% off making it around $34.
5 Minutes in and out.

Just went today. Regular plain oil change is like $50. With this coupon and gift card.. I roughly got it for $40. Since oil cost about $20, the labor was about $20. It?s fair

jiffy lube is awful. 6qts of synthetic normally costs me $100. I do it myself with the oil and filter of my choice for around $35 max. its even cheaper if you dont want synthetic. If you are able to do it yourself you'll save a bundle. its not rocket science.

I used to change my own oil, but the cost of oil at the store has risen so much that it costs about the same at the local Valvoline. After I use a $10 coupon, the oil change is about $25 bucks. Buying oil at my local pep boys/auto zone is about the same price!

Jiffy Lube will try and talk you into getting more things done to your car. They also tell you need different kind of oil and that your coupon won't work for that deal.

I pretty much agree. I thought it was a 'deal' to go to JL but it actually still costs a lot. Not sure if it's a deal.

Spoofee,

If you want too save people money, tell them not to go to Jiffy Lube:

As for not changing my oil - no garage, too hot where I live, too messy to dispose of the oil. Some people live in apartments where you are not allowed to work on cars There are also people, such as the elderly, who cannot do it.

This is only good in San Francisco - read the fine lines!

Why don't people just change their own oil and get a piece of mind?
