You're better off! I got one of these, it takes grainy, low quality vids and if the film is more than 3 minutes long it will usually take it overnight to download into your computer or laptop (I tried both)-or it will just freeze up your computer altogether. I returned mine. Not worth the frustration alone, even if it was free.

I've owned a similar camera for two years and used it a lot! It doesn't take high quality videos, but it's a lot more convenient to grab and go, especially for kids' school programs and videos of them singing... ahem... santa baby LOL

I dont think id ever buy on of these just to upload videos on youtube... Rather put the money towards a semi decent camcorder, even if it is bigger in size...

Saw the videos it takes, maybe a touch above cell phone quality... my compact point and shoot camera takes better videos than that, and if i need anything more than a 10 minute video, id bring a camcorder
